Hop in the car and drive to a Bed and Breakfast for a relaxing weekend getaway. Visit with the B&B keepers for things to do in the area or see what activities and meals they provide.
Relax in Bed Together
Enjoy breakfast in bed then spend time reading the newspaper together and discussing the articles or complete a crossword puzzle together.
Visit a local hobby or home improvement store and find something to build together. Whether it’s a bird house for the back yard or new shelving for the pantry, building something together can be fun and educational.
Grab a camera and take photos together. Take photos of things you both enjoy, such as the local scenery or cool architecture. Visit a local vintage store and take photos of each other in clothing from past eras.
Take a Class Together
Stir up something new in the kitchen by taking a cooking class, start a new hobby like photography or scuba diving, learn a new language to prepare for an upcoming vacation, or take up dance lessons.

Take your partner to a comedy club or piano bar. Check your local listings for comedians, improvisational comedy clubs, or dueling piano bars.
Dancing is a great way to create some romance as you move your bodies together in motion. Visit a local dance studio or arrange a private lesson to learn the salsa, tango and fox trot. It also offers great exercise!
The weather indoors is always nice, so pitch a tent in front of a roaring fire in the fire place, grab some flashlights, snacks, and hot cocoa. Enjoy sharing favorite camping stories or tell ghost stories. Cuddle together in a shared sleeping bag.
Drive-in theatres are becoming hard to come by, but the nostalgia of visiting one is sure to be a blast. You can even rent a convertible from a local car rental agency for the day.

Geocaching is growing in popularity and uses GPS navigation for hikers to hide and seek hidden treasures. This game is played all over the world and you can choose which caches to seek as they vary in difficulty.

Spend a morning going horseback riding followed by hot barbeque and swing dancing.

Check out a local band, then hit the dance floor or serenade your partner at a karaoke bar.
